VkusVill is a healthy food brand that conveniently brings affordable and quality nutrition to its customers. Today it includes more than 1400+ stores and delivery service with 300 000 daily orders in CiS Region, China and the UAE.
The goal was to develop a versatile 3D model for an advertising campaign, designed for use across various media platforms — digital, broadcast, and print.
From the technical side, the project began with building a custom garment pattern almost from scratch in Marvellous Designer — a software used in the fashion and 3D industry to simulate realistic fabric draping and movement. This allowed the piece to capture the natural flow and behavior of cloth as if it were sewn in real life.
But the goal wasn’t just to recreate the original — it was about pushing the look further, making it more expressive and vivid. The process began with a raincoat in the same color as the real one, which then evolved into something more atmospheric and artistic.
Later, the design was simplified even further — stripping away unnecessary detail so the silhouette of the coat stood out with more boldness. The idea was to let the eye go straight to the essentials, without distractions, making it instantly clear that the focus of the advert was the brand itself, with its signature green and white identity.
The cloth simulation and layout were crafted using Marvelous Designer, while the rendering was accomplished in Cinema 4D using Redshift renderer.
