RTVI is a TV channel, which provides independent news, analysis, and entertainment content that reflects the lives and interests of its global Russian-speaking audience. Broadcasting in 176 countries and reaching over 25 million viewers, RTVI has been on air for 24 years.

I contributed to the rebranding of RTVI, working on select elements to support the new visual identity. The project includes a 3D still shot of the updated logo, an animated concept for an entertainment program, and an interstitial bumper design.
The goal was to create fresh, modern visuals that align with the channel’s new direction while maintaining its recognizable brand essence.
When I first joined the project, the existing graphic style felt overwhelming — dark, cluttered, and inconsistent. It lacked a clear direction and didn’t fully reflect the channel’s identity. The challenge was to rebuild this visual language without losing its DNA. The design department had already developed a concept, and my task was to bring it to life in a way that felt fresh, coherent, and recognizable.
I focused on two anchors of continuity: the channel’s signature color palette and its unusual, slightly eccentric logo shape. These elements became the thread that tied the redesign to its past, while everything else was refined and simplified.
The result was a cleaner, more unified style that carried the spirit of the original concept but in a much sharper and more polished execution.

A sleek transition piece designed to seamlessly connect programming while reinforcing the brand’s visual identity.
